Three Distractions on my Desk

We weren't kidding when we said that we would sometimes deviate off the book path! Quill and Me want you to get to know our personalities as well as our opinions, so sometimes we'll do fun get-to-know-you posts. It is my honor to lead off the first edition of 3 Distractions on My Desk!

1. A business card for Paris Texas because when your hair is so long you need to worry you'll sit on it, it's time to get it chopped.

2. Pauline Frommer's Washington, D.C. I'm fine with not using guidebooks too much once I'm actually in a location but stick one on my desk and I'm flipping through it every two seconds trying to memorize the exact address of a store I want to visit!

3. A little rock with eyes painted on it.....no, seriously :). It was a gift from a friend of mine sent when she was living in London. He is wee and cute and doesn't have a name but every time I glance his way I'm reminded of my friend and all the fun times we have had together.
